✅ Step-by-Step Guide
1. Choose the Visa Type
For tourism, visiting family/friends: B-2 Visitor Visa
2. Complete the DS-160 Form
Fill out the DS-160 form online
Upload a digital photo that meets U.S. visa specifications
Save and print the DS-160 confirmation page (with barcode)
3. Pay the Visa Fee
Fee: $185 USD (approx. SAR 695)
Pay through the U.S. Visa Information and Appointment Services
4. Create Profile & Schedule Appointments
Schedule:
VAC appointment for fingerprints/photo
Embassy/consulate interview (Riyadh, Jeddah, or Dhahran)
5. Prepare Your Documents
For All Applicants:
Passport (valid for 6+ months beyond intended U.S. stay)
DS-160 confirmation page
Appointment confirmation letter
Visa fee payment receipt
One passport-size photo (in U.S. visa format)
Proof of financial support (bank statement, sponsor letter, etc.)
Travel plan (optional)
Proof of strong ties to Saudi Arabia (employment letter, lease, etc.)
6. Additional Requirements for Non-Saudi Residents:
If you are a non-Saudi national applying from Saudi Arabia:

Iqama (Residency Permit) – Translation not needed
Birth Certificate (if asked) – Translate if not in English
Marriage Certificate / Family documents – Translate if in another language
Police Clearance Certificate – Translate if not in English
Employment Letter – Translate into English
Bank Statements or Proof of Income – If in another language, must be translated

A certified translator, or
A translation office licensed in Saudi Arabia
7. Attend Appointments
Go to the VAC to give fingerprints and photo
Attend the visa interview with all required documents
8. Visa Processing
Average processing time: 3–10 working days after the interview
